Jorvik Warriors has been chosen as one of the CO-OP'S community fundraising charity's

Great news, Jorvik Warriors been accepted for the Co-op community fund.

From the 12th November a proportion of the money raised will go to the club. It costs a £1 to become a Co-op member and you can then request where the money goes. Below is the information from the Co-op website.

'As a member, every time you shop at Co-op, 1% of what you spend on selected own-brand products and services goes to the Co-op Local Community Fund.

Co-op members have helped raise over £18 million for local causes.

This money, together with money from carrier bag sales, supports projects close to where you live.

The arrival of the Bullet Powerchair

This Session saw the arrival of the first 2 of hopefully a squad of DB Powerchair's excellent Bullet, one of these is owned by the club and was funded through Children In Need and the Brelms Trust CIO and the other one is owned by the player with funding through the Purey Trust.

Children in Need

We are very pleased to announce that we have been awarded a three year grant to purchase six chairs and to assist with facilities hire and transport costs. This will allow us to join in competitive matches and to update our sports chairs.  Jorvik Warriors is an expanding club with big ambitions.

we are also pleased to announce we have been successful in getting a Three Year Grant from the Brelms Trust CIO the assist us with the Bullet Chair purchases.

Charter Standard Award

Jorvik Warriors is now a Charter Standard accredited club, thanks to all the hard work put in by the Committee.  This reflects our commitment to safeguarding and the FA Code of Conduct.

Charity Status

Jorvik warriors is now a registered charity, many thanks to Patrick Cleal for doing the application and Goals Beyond Grass brilliant guys and thanks again.

New Hoist

Everyone at Jorvik Warrior's would like to say a massive thank you to Care Shop at Manchester for donating a superb electric hoist to the club, we are so grateful for this donation, also a big thanks to Steve Deakin for making it happen and for arranging delivery. This piece of equipment will make a huge difference for some of our players at the club.
